Long awaited, Bill Tracker v2.5 is released!

Version 2.5 of Bill Tracker has finally been released. We have put the release through extensive testing however, bugs are still possible. If you encounter any issues, please do not hesitate to contact us. The following is an overview of this latest release:

  • Text on the "View Bills" screen has been rearranged for better readability and understanding
  • You can now click the colored links on the "View Bills" page and they will take you to their corresponding functions
  • Recurring statement and due dates have been removed due to the new functionality of statements and payments
  • The "Add Account" page has been streamlined into an easy three step process of which the last two are optional
  • Statement tracking: you will now be able to save your statement history. This will allow you to input each bill as a new statement. You will be able to better understand your balance history as well as payment history.
  • Payment tracking: this new feature comes hand-in-hand with our new statement tracking feature. This will allow you to apply multiple payments to any statement in your statement history. Note: Only payments applied to the most recent statement will affect your current balance on the "View Bills" page.
  • The ability to track past due amounts has been added
  • Notes/Journal: you can now save memos, phone calls, and to do's directly to your personal journal found within each bill page.
  • An account summary has been added to each bill page
  • Basic account information is now in a dynamically hidden area. You can update this information by clicking "+ Update Account Info". This will toggle this area off and on.

Alerts are on the way! We plan to integrate alerts and notifications by the end of Q3 this year. Some feaures of this service will include e-mail and text notifications that you can customize on your account.

On a side note, you may have already noticed but our blog will no longer be updated until we find an alternate blogging system. This is due to the recent changes Blogger.com has made to their product that no longer allows the integration we require with our site.
